Oceanview - Beautifully Updated 2 Bedroom Condo

We loved our stay. It was a nice location and so nice to have chairs, cooler, and beach toys for kids. Plus having a washer and dryer was a big plus for a family of 6.

The hosts were great, no issues there. The unit had good selection of appliances, cutlery, dishes, etc. Wifi was good, TV had several apps and options. It was helpful to have linen closet and access to extra towels and sheets if needed. The location is good if you have a car and it was easy to get to the places we wanted to go. It was great to have an assigned parking spot. The unit was pretty clean, but a bit tired and some things could be improved. (i.e.the outdoor patio furniture was not nice or welcoming to sit out, the floor grout was black, needing some cleaning, sliding doors are heavy and hard to open, could use some lubricant, supplying beach chairs,etc. were a nice touch but were in bad condition, hard to open/close, one wasn't usable, broken. The water pressure was very low in both bathrooms and the drywall was peeling away in the master shower. The bathtub needs to be reglazed as it's rough and patchy). It is a requirement to strip all the beds before leaving, which we did, but under the sheets were old and wearing mattress covers and pillows so this turned us off a bit. Overall, this accommodation served our needs and we appreciated having it to stay in. However, I think it may be time to spruce up the place with a few new items to freshen it up and make it more comfortable.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, and the hosts provided more than we could have asked for. The hosts were responsive and helpful!

The condo was not clean, we came in and made supper and dishes were not clean. As we cleaned up and began to get ready for bed we took out bedding from the closet and it had popcorn in the sheets. There was also a roach trap which was unsettling. A few minutes later a huge cocktoach flew across the kitchen. We contacted the host and they denied an issue. They said they had no other place for us to stay but would send an exterminator in the morning. When we said that was jot an acceptable solution and we would be leaving they stopped communicating. They did eventually say they would refund us but we have yet to see the credit come through. We spent the next 2 evenings looking for a new place to stay. They knew we left the condo and sent us a message asking for a 5 star review and if there was less.than 5.stars to contact them. In other words they dont want word to get out about their pest issues.

the host was very welcoming and responsive ! the house was beautiful and well equipped for exactly what was needed.
