Oceanview - Beautifully Updated 2 Bedroom Condo

We arrived to find linens and towels draped over every piece of furniture. The dryer was not working. The kitchen had no hot water for the duration of our stay. Both bathroom showers had visible dark growth on the ceilings and walls. One bathroom sink had no water flow at all. A kitchen drawer fell out onto a guest's feet. The curtains were broken and could not be repaired. The beds were not configured as reserved. There were two wine glasses for a unit that accommodates six guests.A handyman addressed one faucet. All other issues remained unresolved.We relocated after one night. We do not recommend this property.

Property was clean and the view from the balcony was nice. Location was fine, about a 15 min drive to Charlotte Amalie. Unfortunately we had power outages two of the three nights. Owners can’t control that though. Biggest disappointment was that the dryer didn’t work. We did a load of laundry the day before check out and had to pack up wet clothes the next day. No response from the owners when I asked about the dryer. Saw in the guestbook afterwards that the previous guests also had the same issue

We loved our stay. It was a nice location and so nice to have chairs, cooler, and beach toys for kids. Plus having a washer and dryer was a big plus for a family of 6.

The hosts were great, no issues there. The unit had good selection of appliances, cutlery, dishes, etc. Wifi was good, TV had several apps and options. It was helpful to have linen closet and access to extra towels and sheets if needed. The location is good if you have a car and it was easy to get to the places we wanted to go. It was great to have an assigned parking spot. The unit was pretty clean, but a bit tired and some things could be improved. (i.e.the outdoor patio furniture was not nice or welcoming to sit out, the floor grout was black, needing some cleaning, sliding doors are heavy and hard to open, could use some lubricant, supplying beach chairs,etc. were a nice touch but were in bad condition, hard to open/close, one wasn't usable, broken. The water pressure was very low in both bathrooms and the drywall was peeling away in the master shower. The bathtub needs to be reglazed as it's rough and patchy). It is a requirement to strip all the beds before leaving, which we did, but under the sheets were old and wearing mattress covers and pillows so this turned us off a bit. Overall, this accommodation served our needs and we appreciated having it to stay in. However, I think it may be time to spruce up the place with a few new items to freshen it up and make it more comfortable.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, and the hosts provided more than we could have asked for. The hosts were responsive and helpful!
